The idea of the design
The inspiration for the Butterfly Scarf comes from Esmee’s own life journey. From being bullied at school, coping with the loss of her mother during an intense IVF process, to multiple surgeries due to a severe form of endometriosis. Instead of breaking down, Esmee decided to grow.
“The Butterfly Scarf tells my story,” she says, “but I discovered that it is also the story of so many. The development of a butterfly symbolizes the journey we are all on.”
