Sisley + Wolterinck + Halsduk 2022

After a successful event in 2021, Halsduk by Esmee and Sisley Paris are joining forces for the 2nd time.

This time in cooperation with Wolterinck Laren, where the event was also held in their beautiful showroom.

This VIP Mother and daughter event was all about fashion, beauty and interior. One could enjoy delicious snacks and drinks in combination with a talk, a workshop and a tour.

In 2019, I got to know goldsmith Kerstin Lodder during the Meesterlijk Amsterdam fair. Even then I fell in love with the sophisticated jewelry she designed and made herself.

In early 2021, we got in touch again. Kerstin now works together with goldsmith Peggy Habraken and they have a store in Son en Breugel. I visited their beautiful store and discovered that our brands had similarities. Like elegance, playfulness yet timeless, but also Dutch craftsmanship, limited editions and unique and custom made items.

Through a joint photo shoot we brought our two worlds together and captured them.

Betty Bogaers jewelry

Betty Bogaers Jewellery is a sophisticated jewelry label founded in 2009 by Betty Bogaers. Since 2011, the label has been run by Betty and Jeske. The collection of Betty Bogaers is characterized by cool, fresh, classic, subtle but simple jewelry that gives that little bit extra to an outfit and emphasizes your personal style. Keywords that perfectly match the collection of Halsduk.

I met Betty through a mutual friend. We had an instant click. Betty is a fan of Halsduk’s jackets and wanted to include them in a shoot for their website and social media.

Sisley Paris

May 2021 I received an email from the French beauty brand Sisley Paris. The head office in the Netherlands asked if I would be open to a brainstorming session for a possible collaboration. Sisley is a fan of Halsduk. A few weeks later, I sat down with the PR Officer of Sisley Netherlands. Halsduk and Sisley both stand for quality, exclusivity, sustainability and femininity.
Our brainstorming session resulted in a collaboration with a third party. Namely Van Loon Galleries in Vught. Together we organized the successful event where art, beauty and fashion came together in October 2021. A group of 80 women enjoyed a unique experience where all the senses were stimulated.

Sisley Paris

Masterly The Hague

October 21 to 24, 2022, a special Biennale took place in The Hague. A Biennale of contemporary designers and Old Masters. Masterly The Hague.

“Ode to the Dutch Landscape” was the theme of 2022.

Especially for Masterly The Hague, I developed a limited collection inspired by the work of the Dutch Old Master Aert Schouman (1710-1792).

The Masterpiece kimono tells the story of 1 of Schouman’s artworks. The prints of the silk kimonos Grås, Magnolia and the men’s kimonos are also inspired by Schouman’s work.
